The Middle TN real estate market has been very busy this year. In 2015 we’ve really seen a resurgence of home sales that in some areas have surpassed the activity that was happening before the real estate bubble burst. The market has rebounded in many areas which has created several real estate hot spots in Tennessee.

What are the hottest real estate areas in Middle TN? According to Google Trends, these areas have the most search volume for the area. This does not necessarily translate into sales of homes. Google Trends collects the data on web searches aggregates that into information people can use.

Why are these areas hot spots?

Brentwood and Franklin, TN are the closest cities on this list to Nashville and feature many very high end homes. It’s convenient for commuters who want to live close to Nashville with lots of shopping. Brentwood and Franklin are in Williamson County whose school system is consistently highly rated.

Spring Hill, TN is absorbing many of the commuters who cannot afford to live in Brentwood and Franklin. It’s a rising town in Spring Hill and has lots of amenities but still remains close to the countryside.

Cookeville, TN is situated on the Cumberland Plateau and alongside of Crossville is one of the major towns in the area. I40 passes right through the city. Tennessee Tech University is one of the highest rated schools for engineering and has many other great programs which makes this small college town and great place to live.

Fort Campbell is a U.S. Army installation built 1941. Lots of military families live near here and may be considering buying or selling a home. Just south of Fort Campbell is Clarksville TN which is home to Austin Peay State University making this another college town on the list. Military members moving to Fort Campbell and searching for information on homes are the likely source of the trends data.

Murfreesboro TN is another poplar place to live in Tennessee. Housing in Murfreesboro is much more affordable than in the other suburban areas on this list. Middle TN State University is in Murfreesboro.

Nashville TN is the capitol of Tennessee and is the epicenter of most of the businesses in Middle TN. The suburban towns on this list are where most of the Nashville commuters live.
